Full Package Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, Kenya

Meet and greet on arrival at the JKIA, and transfer to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, a city tour will be conducted. Overnight at the Nairobi Safari Club/ Crowne Plaza. Meal plan: [B/B].

Day 2:- Kibera - Mathare Slums

Today we set off after breakfast for a visit to Kibera slums- population-500,000- Africa’s largest informal settlement scheme. Our tour includes courtesy call at children’s home for the orphans, selected households (to meet, share with and pray for the sick /HIV Aids victims). We crown with a visit to the government's slums upgrading project, where new houses have been built to resettle the slum dwellers. Lunch will be at the Mercy Care Centre in Mathare Community village (slum) where we share meals with the residents. We have lined up a few activities including class lessons, games, and painting of the class rooms. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (We recommend you bring on Bibles, children toys, play balls, story books, pens, candies, used clothes as gifts for children.

Day 3:- Nairobi - St. Barnados Children's Home

After breakfast in Nairobi, drive to the home of orphans called St. Barnados home located in Nairobi. Children bravely born but they have lost their parents. After a lecture with them, continue to Nyumbani home, a place for the orphaned children leaving positively with Aids. Share a word of encouragement with them and a hope for the future. Dinner and overnight at a Nairobi Safari Club/Crowne Plaza [BB].

Day 4:- Nairobi – Thika

After breakfast drive towards Thika Town. Pay a visit to Thika School for the blind and Joy town primary school in Thika for the disabled children, this school has a few numbers of children but it’s worth visiting them. You will have your lunch in one of these places. Later drive back to Nairobi for Overnight Stay in your hotel. Nairobi Safari Club/Crowne Plaza [BB].

Day 5:- Nairobi – Naivasha

After breakfast, we leave for Naivasha town (we will make a stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for photos), visiting a children’s home at Karatu-The project is a brainchild of Lighthouse Ministries-Minnesota. After we share with the girls, we proceed to Lake Naivasha- The highest of all the Rift Valley lakes, Lake Naivasha is a beautiful shallow freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus reeds. The waters of the lake draw great array of bird life to its shoreline. Buffalo wallow in the swamps, whilst the large hippo population laze their days in the shallows. Giraffes wander among the acacia, whilst the Colobus monkeys swing from the green canopies above. From here, you can visit Elsamere, Crescent Island game sanctuary or Hells Gate National Park (optional extras). Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge/ Naivasha Country Club- (B/L/D)

Day 6:- Lake Naivasha – Kisumu

After breakfast, we leave for Kisumu- Kenya's third largest city, arriving in time for an early lunch. Afternoon visits’ of Nyalenda slums and children’s home. Dinner and overnight stay at the Imperial Hotel/ Similar- (B/L/D)

Day 7:- Kisumu - Oyugis

After lunch, we drive for around 2-3 hrs to rural home in Oyugis town and experience a very different home set up and life style of African local community here. Dinner and overnight at the Oyugis Hill breeze hotel. All meals (B/L/D)

Day 8:- Oyugis – Kisii - Masai Mara

After breakfast, we proceed to Kisii (1hr drive) and make a brief stop at the Kisii Soapstone where you can browse for some souvenirs. We proceed to the Mara arriving in time for a late lunch at the lodge. Enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Sopa Lodge/Mara Chui Cottages- (B/L/D)

Day 9:- Masai Mara

An early morning game drive. Return to the campsite or lodge in time for breakfast before proceeding for a Masai cultural village visit. Evening game drive will expose to you to the survival of the fittest in the jungle as the predators try to make their kill before dusk. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Sopa Lodge/ Mara Chui Cottages- (B/L/D)

Day 10:- Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru

After breakfast depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingoes turning the lake pink and thus called "the Pink Lake" and the rhino sanctuary. Visitors have an opportunity to view the rhino, one of the most endangered animal species in Kenya. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill /Lake Nakuru Lodge- (B/L/D)

Day 11:- Nakuru - Samburu Game Reserve

Leave Nakuru after breakfast for Samburu Game reserve in the northern frontier of Kenya. Late afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Samburu at Serena lodge/camp (B/L/D)

Day 12:- Samburu Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi- arid region north of the equator. These include the reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the beisa Oryx, gerenuk and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but is watered by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdare's and drains in the Lorain Swamp north of Shaba National Reserve. Overnight and all meals at Samburu Serena lodge or similar/ camp - (B/L/D)

Day 13:- Samburu - Nairobi

Depart Samburu in the morning and drive back to Nairobi arriving at Nairobi Serena for lunch. Afternoon at leisure/freshen up and park. Farewell dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant then transfer to the airport for onward flight back home. - (B/L/D)
